BG Injection Services (Diesel)
Did anyone ever hear of BG Diesel Injection Service? Local Ram Dealer recommmends getting diesel fuel injectors get cleaned using this type of service. What do you think? It's for a 2005 Dodge Ram 2...

I would tend to agree with the above posts more so regarding the older mechanically injected diesels. However, the newer common rail fuel systems have a much higher incidence of injector failure. Certainly there are other failure modes than dirt and restriction, but if I had a common rail diesel I would consider performing a periodic injector cleaning as preventive maintenance, as well as considering extra filtration.
