RV Hiker is correct. There is a full hook option in Rio Grande Village. It is a paved parking lot with back in sites. Very close quarters but it beats having to drive 100 miles to get somewhere. We always use the no hookup section of Rio Grande Village since they are more spread out. If you take a generator, be sure to be in the generator section. We were just there at the end of January. The full hook up sites were full, maybe 40% in the non hookup side. We used the Big Bend Motor Inn and Campground the first time we went to the park. It was ok, just a lot of driving to see what we wanted to see. The trip to look at the stars at McDonald Observatory is a nice stop. We used Ft Davis State Park for the observatory as well as tour the Ft Davis site. If you plan to cross the border while in Big Bend, be sure to take your passport.
