I used happi jac system for 6 years with my previous SRW truck and heavy TC. Worked flawlessly. Went with torklift system in new truck only cause I did not want to drill holes in the rear bumper anymore. Fast guns are easier for sure but there is some play with the torklift tube receivers.
That play is inherent when telescoping one square tube into another tube and vanishes when tensioned anyway.
My issue with the TL front setup is the tie down angle. Having said that, I've only observed 2 late model Ford F350's with the shorter box and the front tie down angle on both with the front TL tie down plates was almost vertical and on both, the front tie down passed almost directly over the fuel filler door, necessitating tie down removal when fueling (because neither owner could open the fuel filler door wide enough to get the filler nozzle in.... Just my observation. I don't have that issue with my front HJ's. My tie down angle is much steeper and HJ also markets QR tiedown's like TL but they are much less expensive, I have 4 myself. I think they were 250 bucks for all 4 complete.
I'm quite happy with the HJ's in front and my homebrew TL clones out back.
