First the F150 or GM or Dodge are fine and will pull anything. That said ,do you want to do it safely and do it often. Most folks that "over tow" use thier TT about 2 weeks a year or camp within a few hundred miles from home. They can rattle on and on. BUT if you were to go south in the Winter and witness who tows what with what it would enlighten you a lot.
Trailers such as yours are pulled by a 250 and a lot of them are diesels. I know the diesel is just needed to move the statue of Liberty but in reality when you tow (like I do and often) over 25000 miles a year, a diesel is the best gfriend you can have in the mountains or just for the heck of it to safely tow.
One other thing most of the trailers your size have a far better suspention and they have no problem with trucks passing of even windy days. Our last 3 trailers have had the MOR/ryde system that changed the whole ballgame.
