To calculate the CG you must pick a reference, but any reference will do as well as another. The answer (if done correctly) will be the same. Whether the moments are calculated about the front edge, the box bumpers, the rear bumper, or any place in between.
My Bigfoot 10.4 sales order says 3209, placard on back similar, closet sticker 3506. Weighed ready to travel 4390. In fact I have owned 3 Bigfeet, and all of them were over the placard weight by 300 - 500 lbs. The CG on my 10.4 is somewhat further forward than that, probably because I have no genset and have moved the batteries to the very front of the box. I get about 100 lbs more on the front axle when I load the camper.
