We already had a mat but did add a 3/4" horse stall mat. We bought two and cut them out to fit the full bed of the truck. They only come in a 4x6 size that we could find. Then we laid the truck mat on top to help keep the two pieces from sliding apart if the camper moved any. My DH built a guide for bed also to keep camper from shifting side to side or even forward. When we bought the camper in Portland Oregon we brought it back on our old 2007 Dodge and it shifted where the tiedowns rubbed on the fender. We also bought the TorkLift anchor relocation kit.
