Yep, mine tore like paper. Funny thing is, nobody will say anything while your going down the road.
Replaced ours with heavier wall square tubing and has extra support in the form of a piece of angle iron that runs a short ways under the frame and extends out under the bumper as well. This keeps the bumper from trying to twist downward.
