Thanks for the info, sounds like I'm on the right track. The power washer I was doing to use is heated and around 3,500 psi. We wash farm equipment with it. Warm water makes a lot of difference over cold.
The power washer idea is good one, but as you said, you need to use some sort of blowback shield (towel is good) or else you will get your face wet. Don't ask me how I know - and that is using a wand and regular garden hose. :E
You should not have to use the full power of the power washer, and I am sure you will solve the problem in under a minute. Good luck.
