Sorry to hear of your troubles!
We had to leave our camper for repairs after Big Valley Jamboree. We broke a leaf spring on the 5'er on the way out. Only an hour and a bit away for us, thank goodness! I have extended warranty so it's covered but I'm also getting all leaf's replaced and upgraded as I and the mechanic believe the springs are underrated and/or made of inferior steel (coughCHINAcoughcough) and a bunch of other things looked at and upgraded so maybe not so bad. I'm hoping to go pick it up later this weekend and tow it back to the lake lot and enjoy a weekend out there. It's been mostly work out there as we got the landscaping done/shed built etc, etc so no real fun at the lake this year yet at all. LOL.
Hope it all works out for you.
That happened on day 2 of our 5 week vacation....it got worse from that point forward. It culminated with a broken frame, near the 5th wheel pin-box. Really disappointing, but it was a 14 year old unit, with many miles, and an “off-road” excursion....just prior to broken frame. A reflex action to avoid a deer.....is “NOT recommended!
Our trip consisted of....a broken spring, a power steering pump, a low-hanging limb removing vent covers, and the broken frame! But, no one was killed or injured in the production of our vacation! :B
