I got a phone call from the shipper towing the truck back to Calgary. He wants 850 to pull the TT home. I told him NO! One option is to go home, rent a truck and tow it home myself for a lot less than 850.
As I weigh my options, think I'd rather find a complete used engine and swap it, rather than tear down mine and fix it. Labor would be around 2G plus the used engine. That's if I decide to fix it. I used to do all my own engine and tranny transplants. Still have all the tools and a cherry picker. But, getting older and don't feel like doing it any more. Might be different if it was a 64 Impala or something...
Dodge guy, I live by your tag line!! We are camping right now and smiling. :)
Interesting how US prices vary so much from Canadian. We are so much more money for the same thing. It's always been that way regardless of dollar differences. I just phoned and got a price on an LBZ long block. $15G!! Ouch, that's not happening.
I don't pay any attention to Uber. Don't know if they are here or not.
