That sucks.
How was the railway museum? We wanted to go there when in Golden earlier this summer but never made it.
Lots of the car rental places around (budget hertz etc) won’t allow towing with their vehicles. You might have to start looking at places that rent out work trucks like driving force or some of the actual dealers around. I know our ford dealer in Bonnyville allows towing with their rentals and will often wave the per km fee if it is for RV use and not being used as an oilfield work truck.
Another option is to put it into an rv storage place IN Revelstoke and then go pick it up once your truck is repaired. Might only cost you a couple hundred bucks to store it for a few months.
We are on foot or taxi so haven't got out to look around much. We walked downtown to get some groceries and walked to Dennys for a disgusting breakfast, that's about it.
Truck is being trailered home tomorrow, I'm going with it and going to drive the car back so we can spend another week or so and salvage some holiday time.
I may rent a truck to tow the RV home depending on how other options pan out. But like you say, many don't like you towing things.
Didn't think about storing it here until I'm mobile again. That's a thought too.
You are so right, that Denny’s is probably the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at
