Also sorry to hear of your delema, there is an alternative.

A mechanic I know put Allison transmission into Dodge Cummins trucks there is a adapter part .

I’m saying this because A Cummins is likely to cost a lot less for a rebuilt to drop in your truck. Being that old you have a wide choice, I’d go older.

I know it sounds crazy, but sometimes when your stuck ,you have to think out of the box. If you need more info PM me.
