Blocks under leveling jacks

Is there anything better/ lighter than wood blocks to use under jacks when needed?

  • I have the Lynx blocks but I cut some 2x6 blocks that I use most of the time. I keep them in my truck tool box...can use for other things if needed.
  • I use plastic pieces that are bigger, but thinner than Lynx. I have eight of them and sometimes use them under the jacks and sometimes under the wheels or both. I still have the Lynx because I used them under the fifth wheel. I have never used them under the motorhome.
  • When I had my TT.
If I was staying in one place for more than a couple of days I go to Home depot and pick up a couple thin square patio blocks and put them under the jacks. These also work great if you need more height than your jacks can supply when leveling on uneven ground. I think they are 2 bucks a piece at most.

I now use them with my MH under my lynx levelors to keep them from breaking when used on sand.

I bought about 20 of them once to get more lift under the lynx's when my CG site was like parking on a 45 degree angle off a cliff! :B

X's 2 on Lynx levelers. I carry 40 in the trailer. Love them.
