- Mont_G_JExplorerOh, and don't forget the outside shower, filtered water to sink, and if you have an ice maker in you frig, make sure you blow that system out or you may be faced with a difficult leak repair.
- seaeagle2ExplorerI always like to add "make sure its an oil less compressor"

This was recently discussed at length. It's another one of those `6 took stick and 6 took spray' issues which brings out the best/worst in our posters.
I see no need to use air IF you will then use pink stuff...
X2 - JunketExplorerI use the 40-50 psi. in the freshwater when let set a couple times for 15-20 min.and repeat also but more important is RAISE the front of the trailer a little to help drain the tanks because the low water drain is in the rear.

When buying a "blow out fitting" the dealer said he would not use one as that will void the warranty! Anyone heard of such a thing?
I blew him off as I have a 2010 second owner TT, warranty long gone.
Probably had people bring rigs in where they pressured up the system to 125PSI and blew something apart - WNYBobExplorerWhen buying a "blow out fitting" the dealer said he would not use one as that will void the warranty! Anyone heard of such a thing?

If you look at your water pump, there is (at least on many rigs) a small threaded strainer or filter on the infeed line. Unscrew that and just set it aside until dewinterizing next spring. I can recall not doing that one year and found it cracked and leaking in the spring.
- midnightsadieExplorer III have a portable air tank, I take of the strainers on the faucets hold a rag over the end and blow air backwards on each one , then suck the pink stuff threw the system with the rv pump.hasn,t froze in 7yrs, pour half gal into the waste tanks and pee traps.drain hot water tank.
