- OasisbobExplorerSome time ago there was a post about someone who sawa campground neighbor with an unsxafe trailer hook up. Many said best response was to "mind your own busness". This story is a prime example of why unsafe towing is everyone's busness.

The wording in the article is confusing. Based on my "interpretation" of the wording and the photo, it appears that the boat did not come off the trailer. It seems to appear that the trailer became disconnected from the tow vehicle. Regardless, a very tragic situation. - Me_AgainExplorer III

perhaps they didn't snap down the lock on the trailer and the top part of that hitch didn't hold???
