Hi Guys, my girlfriend purchased a very nice 31 foot TT and unfortunately neither of us noticed that the overhead heavy wooden structure had been built up quite close to the rig after it was initially parked. We sent a pro RV Mover over to pull it from the park to our house just 14 miles away and he wants 7 to 800 bucks to "jack it up & use rollers to move it sideways" in order to merely pull it out of the spot.I once rented a small but powerful "personal forklift" type of vehicle from Home Depot to pull in a 5th. wheel trailer where my truck would not have been able to get out of. I just needed to shunt the rig forward a little at a time and it worked. Wondering about doing something like this in this instance.I do have Good Sam's Roadside service and also thinking about calling them to see if they can just get it out of the spot... Jammed Up!

If height is an issue, dig trenches for the tires....

Lower the tire pressure on other side to move top part of trailer away from awning. Is there room on other side to do this? Remove awning to get more clearance on one side. Hire a better RV driver?

Hmmm. Not sure owner has "delivered" the TT to you when it can't be moved from his/her property. Interesting you didn't notice that issue. Check those tires. Let the pro do it.

If it is on a concrete pad, and you only need to lower it about 6" you may be able to rent some vehicle dollies. Raise it, remove the tires and then set it on the dollies at all four corners.

I'd be concerned about ripping the AC unit off the roof getting it out of there too. I'd be tempted to just remove the wheels and skid it out on the brake drums, they're cheap to replace.

My thoughts exactly , but he said I have done this many times.
Then the next day he showed up with a half ton Van {old} to tow it away with tires on the PM that had been sitting for over 12 yrs.
He had already paid me for the PM but I just wanted him to get it off my property with out breaking down. He made it safely to where he sit it up one block away

Pay the Pro Mover and be done with it!

Reasonable cost, less dangerous and 'they' have equipment/experience...it IS what they do.

I had a Park Model that was up against a 30 ft awning. The 78 yr old guy who bought the PM jacked up the tires and put down 3/4 plywood under the tires and put heavy lube oil on the boards. He lowered one side and the PM slid over enough after twice doing the above to get the PM out

What does the seller say? Seems if he sold it he needs to modify the structure to allow you to roll it off without incurring cost. Or at least disclose a cost estimate before you agree on a price.
