BOV ????

How many of us consider or plan on our campers to be a (Bug Out Vehicle)? In the event of (something!!!!!!!) and you have to bug out long or short term Is your camper in that plan? Do you keep it ready to go and supply's ready to load? How many of us have a plan?

As for me it is part of my family emergency plan and plays a vital role in it. No matter if it is a Bug in or a Bug out type of emergency. I have a emergency properness plan for me and my family do you guys? And is the camper part of it?

  • Yep, the TC is a big part of our emergency preps. We keep it stocked with the essentials if we ever need to bug out. We also have Bug out Bags and a large stockpile of emergency food and supplies.
  • It is always reassuring to have an "escape pod." Even in Florida, it is nice to be able to run,in comfort, if we have to.

Often over the years we used it often , even if we just waiting out a long power outage.

Now that we full time, it is our home, but it is reassuring to know that we can "bug out" within an hour, even when fully set up.
  • I am using my camper as a bug out vehicle also my family and I always have our propane tanks full and camper is ready to go, we camp a lot with it as it is anyways so we just need to add water, clothes and perishable food. We do have a plan if for some reason we need to take off incase of an emergency, hopefully it will never come to that but with all that is going on in this world you never know.
  • Don't have a TC but my 5vr is ready to go at a moments notice.

Have an RV spot with full hookups.

Only things needed are set of clothes and perishables.

It is plugged in and also serves as 'guest quarters'

It just makes sense to me.
