Brake dust......ugh!

Just saying been there done that bought the cheapies and paying for it. Which is why I'm guessing the manufacturing are putting cheapies on also. :C

Do you think all the new performance cars with six piston Brembos use cheap pads? Take a look at the dust on those. The braking is outstanding on those I have test driven. But they leave a lot of brake dust.

Not sure if I would label OEM pads cheap. My Chevy just turned 207k miles, and it still has the original pads. They dust a little, but stop fine, and seem to last for ever. I'll probably replace them soon, I feel I've gotten my use out of them, and they are getting close to time.

I have noticed since going to a Dually with the way the rims are made I have no dust. Nice benfit with the Dually :)

Can't wait till the all black fad is gone. It makes anything look cheap.

I accepted that! My Dad passed I retired,,,, Grew a Goatee! Didn't feel right, but what ever!!
This whole paint everything black is ridiculousness! I like Chrome,, I learned the chemical process and understand it. I appreciate "Show Chrome" It's Beautiful!
The Murdered look (Black Out) looks really cheap! I used to run allot of demolition Derbies,, Spray paint covers allot of junk!! And the Darker the better..
Now the new move is to Paint anything Shiny, BLACK,, But what ever,, You can do some really quality work, Paint it flat black and when you drive by,, who's gonna care??
In my days,, Primer,, and cheap primer would now be the "Murdered" Look!!

I'm not going for rebellious, I'm a nearly 40 year old grown man with a haircut your Marine father would appreciate. That said I do think my white truck with black wheels and tires (letters in) looks clean and sharp and I prefer the look to shiny alloy wheels. Especially stock wheels that are tucked under the truck so far that it looks pigeon toed.

I like black. Especially over some of the cheap chrome that is used now.

what's brake dust anyway?

ArmorAll makes a brake dust repellent spray and it works. I have used it a lot.

I am with ole Biscuit only I wash mine every 6 months. :B

It seems to get a nice dirty color and just stays the same.
