- ksssExplorerI replaced my DRW (06 GMC) with Hawk SD pads. I liked them, certainly better than the oem pads were.
- fj12ryderExplorer IIII think I put ceramic on mine the last time, don't remember the brand.
- ferndaleflyerExplorer IIII got mine at Autozone--lifetime warranty. Have replaced once at around 60,000mi feee. I tow a 32ft enclosed trailer with a car inside. Total weight is around 23,000lbs.
- My latest is Performance Friction and I am on the heavy side also. Excellent pads.
Second choice is EBC. Most premium brands will serve you well. - Garry_GayleExplorerI have thought about EBC but they are the most expensive too. I will look into the others suggested also.

I used ceramics on my Tundra after getting a "deal" on after market pads. They were so soft that there was always brake dust on the front wheels. Tough to remove. I am not a left foot braker. I switched back to OEM ceramic pads and problem solved. Ya gets what ya pays for! - APTExplorerI am a big fan of Powerstop pads and rotors. I have them on my Suburban for 30k miles as well as my DD Subaru Outback (F 10k, R 25k miles).
- theoldwizard1Explorer III like Raybestos, but make sure to get their Premium Ceramic pads.

I have the EBC Orange HD pads on my 01 RAM Sport all around and on the front of my 15 DRW.
The difference was insane on the 01 and dramatic on the 15 with only doing the fronts. Only did the fronts because the rears were not available at the time. Didn't need pads but wanted improved braking and it made more difference than another pad I have ever used. I also use the EBC Yellow on my HEAVY Mobile suites and they work great.
Ceramics are NOT designed or intended for HD use!!! If you look many of the so called ceramic pads for HD they say "Ceramic like". - Grit_dogNavigator12Vs comments about the OrangeStuff pads are correct, but the rest of it is a bit to broad or general.
Heck, newer GM light and heavy duty pickups come with ceramic pads. Or if they're not, I've never seen an organic or semi metallic with that little brake dust on the wheels.
Pads that have worked well for me on HD pickups.
EBC Super Greenstuff (truck and SUV, not the normal greenstuff pads)
