Brand New - looking for advice

When you mentioned "tent trailer" were you thinking Pop-Up or have your seen the hybrid travel trailers and decided that was not for you. You're really limited on your weight and number in the family. If you've not seen the hybrid, strongly suggest you give it a look. You have the lighter weight, smaller towing, but when you set up, you've got a LOT more room. It does have the amenities of a standard hardside travel trailer. I'm certainly not pushing HTT if that's something you've eliminated, but there are many out there who have never even heard of a hybrid, let alone seen one. If you feel that's not the trailer for you, you might check into the Rockwood Mini Lites and see if any of those suit your needs. They are smaller, but offer amenities and a lighter weight. You can check them out online with floorplans and usually pictures by going to RV Wholesalers. You didn't mention the ages of your children....smaller children are a help in trying to fit a family of 5 in a trailer that's of a smaller size. Good luck in the search.
