So I just bought a 1997 wilderness. I can't find my furnace. Finally found the fuse box watching a youtube video. I am totally lost. Got the owners manuel emailed to me by Fleetwood, but no schematics. Anyone familiar with this TT?

Most of the 1990's trailers had the furnace under the refrigerator.On the inside you should see an access panel to get to the furnace. It usually looks like an air vent.On the outside of the trailer normally there is a stainless steel oblong plate with two openings. These openings are for the furnace. The furnace will be located on the inside of the wall where this plate is.

The more insightful question so far unasked is: Why were you looking for your furnace in the first place? Was there a problem? Did it not work? or were you just familiarizing yourself with the trailer...It's really nice when OP's come back and let us know what happened.I just removed my furnace, yes it was under the refrigerator, and cleaned it and blew the dust out of it and re-mounted it with a much better mounting so the air actually went down the ductwork.So if you need help just call...

are you in a area where it doesn,t freeze? most rv,s area not set up for winter use.

Three months in the winter. Interesting. What steps are you planning for water freezing? Does your furnace heat the tanks? Is the underbelly enclosed? How are you protecting the fresh water hose?

Monroe, WA can get chilly in the winter.

Thank you so much for letting me know where it's probably at. firstly I was just trying to familiarize myself with the camper, but mostly because we're getting ready to use it for 3 months this winter.
