So they specify the 450 which is medium-duty is included, but do not mention the 550. The 650 and 750 are in the medium duty reporting. So how many of those 57,995 are Super Duty 450 and 550?
I'm betting if you just count 350/3500's Dually's Ford won't be on top.
Let"s look at the facts.
Ford vs Ram
1/2 ton Ford beats Ram
3/4 ton Ford beats Ram
1 ton Ford beats Ram
Class 5 Ford beats Ram
So in all categories, Ford beats Ram in Canada and US but based on your eyeball survey in a small corner of the USA, you think Ram sells more DRW. :R
I have yet to see any evidence that is true.
Prove me wrong with facts. You are the one quoting what I said and you did state some facts but they do not apply to my statement. - Cummins12V98Explorer III

Don't get hung up on the F450 designation. Ram and GM could segment out this category the same way. The F450 belongs in the analysis. You cannot use the Chevy/GMC should be combined and disagree with the F450 in the same argument.
19.5" tires and wheels on GM and RAM 4500's? Fords F450 rear axle is much larger. Bottom line they de rated the 450 so people could afford to license and insure a 450. If it was 14,001# GVWR not many would be sold. - spud1957Explorer

I was clearly denoting that the website was not official Ford reporting.
So two websites saying the same thing proves it is a fact?
The truth is in the 8-K SEC filing by Ford. That is where the F-Series number is identified. (And it does match.)
I am not sure what point you are arguing, and referring to ignorant. I am sure that I have more insight to this sales data than you have.
I question the validity of the data presented in the article because it only represents 69.8 percent of the GM announced deliveries.
If you are arguing GMs numbers, why the obsession with Ford's numbers. I haven't been discussing or arguing GM's numbers. My response was to Travelnutz's post.
Show us all Ford's official numbers. If you do have the insight, show me data that Ford includes F series trucks larger than 450 in these numbers. These are pickup numbers, F550+ do not make pickups. - DadoffourgirlsExplorerI was clearly denoting that the website was not official Ford reporting.

Never said they were an official Ford website. We have these two websites quoting the same PICKUP sales numbers and one states the numbers are for F150, 250, 350 & 450 but you seem to want to argue and believe the 550-750 is included. The F450 is a Class 3 truck with a 14k GVWR.
If you want class 5,6&7 sales numbers, check out this page.

I'm nursing a strained back and had some time today to wander over to the Dieselstop which I frequented often when I owned my Ford diesels. Let's just say after a few minutes reading the 6.7L forum (with my jaw on the floor I'm sure) I was very happy with my decision to buy a Cummins. I read of several complete engine failures at low mileages. As much as the 6.0L had a lot of nasty problems complete engine failure was rare. Not so much with the 6.7L. Say what you might about the Ram but the latest generation is much better than previous generations and the Ram forums are COMPLETELY different than the Ford diesel forums. Yes there are a few people with some issues (most relatively minor) but nothing like I read today. I'm very happy I got off the Blue Koolaid.
Based on CR surveys some Ram owners may dissagree.

I must be lucky. I had a great experience with my 6.0 PSD for 10 years in a F250 and am now into the third year with my 6.7 CTD with no problems or recalls on my chassis cab 5500 (did have software updates every dealer visit).
Ford is still selling class 5 chassis cabs 3 to 1 compared to Ram. Around my area, you rarely see a chassis cab Ram and I wouldn't be surprised if the ratio is closer to 12 to 1 here.
