I'm sure this has been covered more than once due to the flimsy nature of these things but I can't find any info. Just got my first TT 2 weeks ago and already broke the grey water dump valve T handle rod right where it screws on to the actual valve.I've looked on campingworld website and they dont sell just T handle.Don't know where else to look.any suggestions?

our ace hardware store sells a lot of different handles in the nut/bolt depart. take your old one to match threads. and size.

Check your nearest RV dealer for these.

Good stuff and the JB quick sets up WAY faster than the standard stuff. I've used it to fix a crack in an engine block, master link on a MC chain, leaking fuel line on tractor, broken handle bars, etc...GOOD STUFF!If I can't find a replacement the JB will fix it!

You can also just take the old piece and run some more threads into it with a 1/4-20 tap. The rod is actually soft aluminum tube. The broken off piece on the valve should be easily removable. I have done this several times.

The flimsy aluminum rod broke halway down the threads close to the tip of the rod where it screws into the valve.

I JB welded it yesterday and will test it tonight.

Ah I see that now, I must have focused on the subject line. Is it the actual metal rod that broke, or the plastic threads in the valve that broke?

Just to clarify, it's not the actual handle that's broke.

On mine I put two nuts with a fender washer between. Worked better than the plastic handle because it wasn't hanging down and catching on brush.

I think I would just replace the entire gate. They're cheap and easy to do.
