Older Diesel engines I agree can use additional power. My 98 12V was 300hp on the dyno. 215 injectors, custom ground fuel plate, timing, Air intake, turbo mod made for a great mileage and towing machine. BUT my 15 with a measly 365hp 865TQ pulls my 33-35K combined loads very well with no worries of voiding my warranty. Anything along my drivetrain fails within 5 years or 100K it will be covered by Chrysler.
Buyer beware there is no such thing as an undetectable tuner on the newer RAM's no idea about GM or Fords.
