I just washed the front of our 1181 and some of those critters have been on there for months.
I used a spray on stuff called "Krud Kutter"
Good stuff! BY the time I got done spraying the nose and picked up the wand they were practically melting away!
You should be able to find it at Wally World in the paint dept.
