A clothes dryer sheet works pretty good. It has a white chalky material that comes out and will have to be kept wet and cleaned off.
I've soaked bugs with Meguiars Instant Detailer (red bottle). Came off with rubbing and more soaking.
I've used Krud Cutter on the house, but not a vehicle. My first thought...might be too strong??
