BUGS.......I hate cleaning bugs.

I hate having to spend lots of time cleaning the bugs from the front surfaces of our TC. What tips and techniques do you use to keep your rigs looking clean? What are the best products available to clean and prep the finishes to prevent the bugs sticking? Once you have bugs everywhere, what is the easiest ways to remove the bugs? When I come home, I want to spend my time enjoying the grandkids, not hours cleaning bugs. Thanks for your inputs, Larry.

  • Dryer sheets here. As far as hoseing off after dew, I live in the desert, I'd be waiting a long time for some dew!
  • This stuff makes the bugs just melt, a few seconds of spray nine and then just a run over with a light brush, then hose off.

    Spray Nine

Get some, then use it. Worth every penny.
  • I heard a long time ago that a thin coat of baby oil works wonders. when you wash you need to reapply the oil
  • Use dampened "dryer sheets" (ie. bounce, etc) and the bugs will come right off. Then a good coat of wax will make it even easier next time.
  • I keep lots of wax on the front of the TT and then hit it with the hose early in the morning after the dew has been soaking the little beggars loose.
