There are a lot of things linked together as packages to streamline the production process or to promote something new. I did not want automatic parallel parking on my truck but I found that by ordering a package that had it and other stuff that I did want I actually saved $500. It can get complicated, that is part of why I chose to risk paying a few dollars more and work with my local dealer. I still feel that I got a better price than I would have just walking in and buying one off the lot.
