Tuners with mild tunes are fine for towing, but I think a gear change makes more sense. Keep in mind that the max hp with gasoline engines requires Premium fuel as well.
For only 3250 or so, I think 3.73 would be enough without conceding too much fuel. I'd also go for a slightly larger exhaust more performance oriented muffler and pipes, updated catalytic converter, and higher air flow air filter or cold air intake.
