So, you paid 5 grand for an ECM, but Bully dog, not doing you goodwill for something they clearly state, on a 10 year old out dated electronic device is a ripoff??
They "could" have given you goodwill, but imagine all the scenarios they've been presented by someone "who needs their BD unlocked because of bla blah blah." How did you make your scenario more believable?
Bet you can or could provide some documentation and get it unlocked. I've found BD very helpful the couple times I had issues with my old Power pup tuner.
Or, if you're keeping the truck a while, consider it a blessing and get a Smarty or EFI live.
