Bumper mounted grill - modified
Has anyone modified their bumper mount, the one intended to be used with the grill provided, to instead hold their portable Weber? google image

Yes I did. I removed the pressure regulator and got the fittings to plug directly in to the LP port on the trailer. Then I attached a piece of plywood to the bracket arms using tie wraps so the weber could sit on it.
Used it a few times then ditched it when I got fed up of smoke getting in to open windows and smelled up the interior.
Do yourself a favour, ditch the bumper mount, get a 10' lap quick connect hose, and the Weber stand. I have the 1200 set up as described and love the heck out of it.
