BUNK COVER NEW PERSPECTIVE?

We have had out HTT for atleast 12 years. Bunk ends are a bit dirty but do not leak. In fact our trailer just spend a weekend in solid relentless rain and all were dry. Now HTT set up at home under cover drying bunk ends. I use pop up gizmo's but last trip out I tarped the front bunk on all sides and across the top to see if I could keep outside dry and eliminate set up at home. I need to make some improvements on my tarp but it will work. Has anyone here done this with success? Secrets? We tun a dehumidifier so condensation is not an issue.

    I used tarps from the beginning. With my pup as well as my htt. They were cheaper than the pop up gizmo's. I purchased heavy duty spring clips to clip the tarps to the rain guard at the top and bunji's at the bottom to hold the tarps in place.
