Bunkhouse recommendations

Hi All!

I'm selling my toy hauler and looking to move into a travel trailer instead. I'm looking for recommendations on a trailer that will fit me, my husband, and 3 kids. I would like something with bunk beds. I'm thinking something in the 22-28 ft range. Does anyone have any suggestions?

TIA

PS we are in California
  • You probably should look for a bunkroom. Usually that means a qb in the model #. We just went from a mh to a 282qbxl from wildwood its lite 7400 gvwr. I couldn't find anything shorter that had 3 or 4 bunks and a separate master room. Good luck I haven't taken my qb out yet (next weekend) so I can't do a real review
  • Outdoors RV Black Rock 23BKS

You are going to want a slide to open up the space in the trailer for a family of 5. You could also consider looking for something slightly bigger so search for trailers that have designations of 25BHS/26BHS or BKS (usually BHS = BunkHouse Slide, BKS = BunKhouse Slide). The 25/26 trailers will generally have a point to bumper length of around 30'. Along with the GVWR on those 25/26 trailers, it should be no problem for your currently listed TV but they will exceed the total length you've listed in your OP.
  • Camping world in Valencia has a really nice used keystone cougar for $18,500. We looked at it two weeks ago. Much nicer than the new units at similar price point. It's worth the drive if they still have it. It's in pristine condition.
