Your account is why I always tow a second vehicle (an old army halftrack I bought at an auction) behind mine when going out into the boonies, just in case I need a jumpstart and there's no one around. I also use it to carry extra food and water - I can go for months, and it's great for when I get stuck, I can pull myself out. (j/k)
