The other thing you can do is research the penalty fees involved. How much $ is the first violation? How much for the second? Maybe it escalates, maybe it doesn't. Could be that paying the fine every month or so is cheaper than paying for storage.
You cannot find safe storage around here for less than $200/month. I probably would choose to not own an RV if I couldn't park it here at home. Not worth the cost or the inconvenience.
