I am 100% on your side. Adventurer needs to step up to the plate and take care of this and I would not settle for anything less then a new door. I don't care how through of a PDI was done, this could easily be missed. In this day and age the power of the internet is huge and this could cost them many times in lost sales then what a door replacement would cost them.
I emailed them and told them I think they need to take care of this.
