So somewhere in the manufacturing process, it's a person's job, to place a rubber bumper on the door to prevent damage as it opens against the ladder. Now wouldn't you think that after that person placed the bumper he would check to see if it's in the correct position? I don't care how you look at it, the company failed. If they are blowing the customer off, they deserve all the bad press they are getting.
