Kevin, I appreciate your post on outdoor speakers and because of it I am using your suggestion for a fix. I will buy an inexpensive Bluetooth speaker for outdoors. Posts like the OP's are good to alert us to potential problems and possible fixes.
I still believe Adventurer should step up to the plate and pay to have the hole in the door fixed by a local body shop and maybe send out a letter to registered owners of this model, with a couple of white bumpers and explain how affix the bumpers to prevent this problem.
