I backed under the camper this morning to make sure there was enough clearance between the junction box and the side of the tub. It's close, but I think it's workable.
I think plugging in the umbilical is going to be easier when the plugs are in their new location. I'll be able to stop about right here, and look over the side to see what I'm doing.


The camper is up against the spacer board now. I think the clearance is acceptable.

Looking back towards the rear. The camper tub is cntered in the bed, and is almost touching the wheel well. As long as I keep things straight, I shouldn't have to worry about hitting the box with the camper.

Here's an example of the kind of crimps the IWISS lug crimper can do. This is actually two crimps side-by-side. If you do each crimp progressively, and rotate the lug between steps, you won't end up with "ears" sticking off the side.
