We actually find the sunroof helpful with the TC.!
We installed a hatch for access to the TC overhead area - as the rear pass-thru access was limited for all intents and purposes, for pass thru of just small pets - so we open the camper sunroof and climb up/down through that instead. (There is a boot between the hatch and sunroof too.)
(It helped that we had purchased the TC used and were having to repair/rebuild the AF 990 TC due to prior water damage. But we can now pass thru the hatch - if the weather is poor; or when the other is driving (primarily to use the BR) - without having to lose time stopping/pulling over.) It’s been pretty handy. (We bought a foam mattress that’s in three sections, so we just store each section on their side while we are driving so that we are able to open the hatch while the vehicle is in motion.)
Anyways, just thought I’d share how we found it to be of use with a TC! :)NRALIFR wrote:
