Yes Ram warranties are void if you import. I tried getting an older car across, 09 SRT Challenger and couldn’t even get the certs for emissions , essentially a no go, but found out Canadian Chrysler products are much harder than other brands to import.
The cost difference is what I “heard”. Still don’t see or new trucks coming across, prob for reasons you mentioned, but I have seen a couple sub 20k mile company chevys come across. One of my engineers has one.
It’s still worth looking into. I made good acquaintance with the owner of a big car dealer in BC, our kids were on the same team, and will look into importing if we buy another new vehicle.
