There are a LOT of scammers out there just waiting to pounce on someone like you. a LOT.
I think you should re-focus your search to an area where you CAN inspect and drive the car......like Virginia and a bit south.
I also think that you should not obsess over the salt thing if it will be a recent model.....say less than 10 years old.
If you buy anything sight unseen the odds are OVERWHELMING that you will be sorry.
