I avoid truck stops
Sorry, I still despise truck stops.
Wow, I don't even need diesel fuel but I always try to find truck stops as normal gas stations are usually to small and limited to fit the truck and trailer through.
With your rig being longer, I don't see how you 'can' avoid truck stops.
Never ever been bothered by beggars or lot lizards.
Beggars and lot lizards tend not to hang around the fuel island where they are easily seen by management. They slurry amognst the trucks parked in the lot. Believe it or not, they seem to respect the "NO LOT LIZARD" sticker.
Worse one for me was PA T/P service plaza.
Knocked on driver door---I told her to go away. She then knocked on passenger door---stupid &!(@ that door still belongs to my truck, try the next truck. Heard her knocking on next truck---in the morning my brother (next truck) wanted to know why I sent her over to him????? LMAO
If T/A, Flying hook, Lowes etc... Really bother you. Go to a Pilot, they tend to be overgrown convenient stores/fast-food joints with tiny overnight lots...
