Wow, thanks for the generous offer! I would have taken you up on that if I'd posted this topic a little sooner, but I did have my mom and brother go look at it and thought it was a good enough deal that we jumped on it already.
BTW, I didn't mean to imply in any way that I don't believe the weight on your rig - just hoping the '07 is lighter. Good to know most people think it's going to be at least OK with my truck.
I also should mention that I do believe that a medium duty truck would be by far the best solution, but that will have to wait for some later date when the truck isn't my wife's daily driver - CC DRW 3500HD is already ridiculous enough as a commuter vehicle! (although, this is Alaska, so showing up to her office job in a Ram 5500 CC with a flatbed wouldn't look terribly out of place!)
