- ACZLExplorerIf the '15 was a rental truck, I'd be awful leery of it based on users who probly didn't know a thing about diesels.
- GordonThreeExplorerWhy do you say you have no way to check them out? Are the airports closed in California?
Spending that kind of $? Invest in some due diligence and fly out to the trucks. - Grit_dogNavigatorThe new body and interior is nice, but a LML is a LML. I'd have to take the older one with half the miles.
- valhalla360NavigatorI wouldn't mess around with out of state unless it's a heck of a deal and so far not seeing that here.
Well maintained and not abused, they can do a lot of miles but you haven't given us enough info to know if that's the case. That's why going to see the truck first makes sense. - LMMNOCATS_EFIExplorerSOrry about that but both trucks are duramax powered and yeah the 15 was a rental from enterprise .... and I’m in ca and both trucks are in another state so don’t really have a way to check em out ... last truck that was totaled because of a dam ball joint made it 381k and still ran like a raped ape sun or shine and I bought it off eBay only seeing pics I just hope I can get lucky againg??
- ksssExplorerI assume these are 6.0 liter trucks. I don't think that motor really cares about the miles, but the price on the '15 should be in the lower 30's in my view for an SLE with those miles. All things being equal, I think the interior of the '15 and the exterior handle on the excab would make that truck more desirable. However the price is too high in my view for that trim level with those miles.

Trucks in question are a 13 Sierra SLE 3500HD SRW extended LB cab with 60k in miles and price of 30k
Second truck is a 15 3500HD SLE SRW Double cab same as the Ext cab LB with 118k on its clock with a price tag of 36,500
Both trucks are out of state and I am in ca ...what would you do?
Thanks
118K on a 2015 is a lot of miles is a short period of time. Must have been used for commercial work/delivery or some such service.
Chris - LwiddisExplorer IIThe truck that matches best with your TT or 5er.
- romoreExplorer IIUnless you can inspect them or have a reliable person do that you are buying a pig in a poke. Value is determined by your needs, vehicle condition and the local market. You have to determine which one would better fit your needs then do your research.
