Buying new truck but what truck is the better deal?

I'd be more apt to the new body style 15 and up, have had a 14 and a 16 now, with 6 months in an 08 in between and the interiors of the current style are much nicer.

With so many areas of the country that were affected by floods, I would look really close at anything used if it wasn't local.

Are you dead set on a GM? How far are you willing to go to get a truck? Shipped to you or you going to fly out and drive back? Budget?

Thanks for the replies fellas , so they sold the 13 yesterday so now I have a feeling of what to look for so I’ll prob have to pass on the 15 for now lol ... I’ll be on soon to ask and or let you know what I end up end

Just a gut-feeling, shoot-from-the-hip on this I'd say the 2015 is overpriced for what it is. IMHO it should be roughly on par with the 2013 price-wise.

My own personal opinion is newer with more miles is more desirable, but I'm coming from the rust belt.

If you get a good one again using this method, I would go buy a Lotto ticket or two. Chris

All things considered, I'd go for the lower miles. The higher miles are on all the components, not just the engine and transmission, so I'd be concerned with other things starting to wear out.

I’d call $30k for a LML with only 60k on it a good deal if it’s in good shape. Should be about zero wear n tear if it was cared for.
I would not want a high mile ex Rental. JMO.

Older with less miles would be my choice. High miles and being a past rental sounds scary.

Hmm an airport whats that? I do have a career so just getting up and leaving because my truck was suddenly totaled doesnt leave me with a lot of time to fly to separate states at a moments notice but like I said my last truck went almost 380k and it was also bought online never seeing it but that time there was no other truck to compare it to. So the 15 was a rental to a fleet company with every service record you can think of the 13 im not sure about it and lastly what would you guys call a good deal if you were not seeing one here or what would you offer for either ? just trying to get some help from some that may see one as a better way to go then the other , both trucks will be deleted and tuned ect and both will serve the same purpose dragging a big toy hauler around and whatever else....
