The more I own RVs the less I care about warranties. And it's not that RVs are being better built. It's just a PITA taking them in for service and repair. God forbid you buy an "extended warranty". Forget ever getting anything done. Unless you've had your fleeber seal lubricated and blessed every month any claim will be denied.
Find the best floor plan and manufacturer you can at your price point, do a meticulous PDI at the time of delivery, and hope for the best. Things that come up early on should be taken care of but if your dealer is far away and you pay out of pocket that's just life IMO. Safest way is buying from nearby dealer and buying an extended warranty. Most cost effective way is finding the best price and rolling the dice.
