My F250 did just fine with a heavier Arctic Fox 811 on the rear with an 8000 lb enclosed trailer in tow. What I did find was that it required precise loading of the TC and trailer to stay under my 18" wheel limits. Even though I could keep under the tire ratings, I was very close to maximum and wanted more flexibility in loading, so I went 19.5" wheels. With the the 18" tires and rims, I could not exceed 7250 lbs on the rear axle and I was typically loaded just over 7000 lbs. With the 19.5" tires and rims, I had 9000 lbs of capacity (which was still under the axle rating) and never loaded it up more 8000 lbs.
