California Redwoods State/National Park Trip Report

When I was nine years old I caught my first Salmon at the mouth. It weighed 39 pounds and my Uncle had to hold me by the waist to keep me from being dragged in to the water. I spent a month with my Uncle and Aunt camped by the bridge. I learned to read water and drive a boat on the daily trip down to the mouth. Been driving or rowing boats and rafts ever since.
