- poppin_freshExplorerI use one of the Camco Dual Flush systems that has a second gate valve so you can easily add water backwards into the tank. I am always amazed at how much stuff the additional couple fill and drains remove.
The best part is that there is zero installation needed, it's totally external, and you dont have to stick a wand down into...anything.
Like the tank rinsers though, you have to be careful you don't overfill the tank into the camper, but that isn't all that difficult. - SoundGuyExplorer

FWIW: using a wand on a black tank system that has a bend in the pipe below toilet renders wand useless.
Nonsense ... use a flexible tank wand and it'll bend with the pipe, exactly what it's designed to do. - llowllmsExplorerI purchased one a few years back, had to remove it twice due to it not working properly. I quit fooling with it after it broke the third time. I would rate it a thumbs down. I started using a flush king and back flush the tank and you can see when the tank is clear of waste.
- dtappy3353Explorerinstalled one on our 2003 fiver about 3 years ago.
Super easy installation. Installed it on furthest tank wall from flush valve. Put a quick connect on hose end as it is easier on fingers who object to turning coupling due to arthritis.
Never had a problem and have a very clean tank.....w/no smell.
FWIW: using a wand on a black tank system that has a bend in the pipe below toilet renders wand useless. Know your system. We also installed a "T" on toilet water feed w/hand nozzle to help flush out neck of toilet. Discovered this feature via ingenuity of this forum! - Campfire_TimeExplorer

putting a wand down the toilet throat is just as effective ... and it won't break. ;)
x2! - SoundGuyExplorerI installed a Tornado on our then new TrailCruiser hybrid but it was broken from the get go ... eventually got a replacement from Camping World and although it did work it too eventually failed as it's all plastic and can easily break. All brass would be better but of course no one would be willing to pay the price. Our next trailer had a factory black tank flusher and it worked just fine for the 6 years we owned that trailer. Our current Freedom Express doesn't have one and with an open underbelly adding a Tornado would be a simple task but I based on my previous experience I haven't bothered as putting a wand down the toilet throat is just as effective ... and it won't break. ;)
